LIVE Broadcast at CMJ/Pirate Island NYC 10/19! Member stations of the IBS Student Radio network will be broadcasting live from Fontana's on Manhattan's lower east side, today, October 19th, from 12-5pm as part of the Pirate! Promotions 'Pirate Island' showcase . Backbone and TuneIn Radio will be hosting the event, and all stations will be accessible through the TuneIn Radio app available for all major smartphone platforms, as well as online. The broadcast will be anchored by WLIU-BK Brooklyn, and member schools Western New England College, Emmanuel College, and Fairleigh Dickinson University, along with Manhattan Marymount, CJLO Montreal and Breakthrough Radio will be broadcasting throughout the afternoon.

Marvin Brown, Pellissippi State Radio We are sad to announce that Marvin Brown, faculty advisor to the great and long time IBS-SRN affiliate at Pellissippi State in Knoxville, Tenn. passed away late this spring. CHAMSPSFest 2011 to be simulcast live on IBS-Palooza 5/21 CHAMPS Charter High School presents the second annual CHAMPSFest, 12 hours of non-stop music hosted by the school's own internet radio station, AER(Arts & Entertainment Radio). The day-long festival on the school's Van Nuys campus will feature performances by many of SoCal's best up-and-coming bands & Dj's, and will be broadcast LIVE on AER, and simulcast on the IBS-Palooza radio station available in iTunes® Radio, and in TuneIn, both online and mobile.
